| Greg and Fred hiked Cherry Mountain (3563-ft; White Mountains, NH) for sunset in early October 2002. We take the Cherry Mountain Trail to the primary peak -- Mount Martha (3563-ft) -- and then Martha's Mile over to the secondary peak -- Owl's Head (3248-ft). Sunset brings beautiful color to the sky behind the silhouette of Mount Martha's ridge, as seen from the fine outlook on Owl's Head. |
