| We bushwhack up to Mount Waternomee and then down the ridge to Mount Braley and Mount Kirkham, and finally down to the Al Merrill Loop (which we hike back to our car). This long bushwhack (about 4 miles) goes through reasonable woods (like this), but also some nasty stuff. When we finally get back on trail, Dick is so fed up with the whack that he gets down on his knees to kiss the trail (a little humor there). |
