AMC Galehead Hut and South Twin Mountain at winter in New Hampshire

Fifteen of us hiked Galehead and South Twin in February 2008. We go in via the Beaver Brook XC Ski Trail and Gale River Trail, climbing up almost 4000 feet in 7 miles. The group stops for lunch at Galehead Hut (closed for winter) before climbing South Twin (mountain in the background) and Galehead (behind the photographer).
