Many-fruited Pelt (Peltigera polydactylon) lichen in October on Snows Mountain in New Hampshire

On a mossy rock is a colony of Many-fruited Pelt (Peltigera polydactylon) lichen: the top surface is shiny black, the underside is white and the apothecia (fruits) are orange. Pretty weird!
