| The Magnolia Swamp Trail includes some lengthy boardwalks through wet sections. Unfortunately, the rare (endangered in Massachusetts) Sweet Magnolia trees are out of sight beyond tall wire fencing. The fencing is to protect the trees from consumption by deer. In June the Trustees lead an inside-the-fence tour (fee) to see the Magnolias in bloom. |
