And the bushwhack is REAL
(long time since I found one of these!):
bushes do indeed whack us,
hobblebushes hobble us,
raspberry bushes grab at our pants,
thick ferns hide the ground so we have to feel our way with our feet,
slippery rocks let our feet slide,
fallen trees present a kid's jungle gym,
and boggy ground tries to suck our boots off.
