A Green Frog (Rana clamitans) makes itself at home in June in a lumber-road puddle near Pilot Ridge in New Hampshire

Chuck and Fred did a bushwhack to Pilot Ridge Middle Peak (3615-ft; White Mountains, NH) in June 2006. We take an old lumber road and unofficial trail to the col between Middle Peak and Mount Mary, then bushwhack up the ridge through mostly open woods to Middle Peak. We also hike to Mount Mary, since we are right here. A Green Frog (Rana clamitans) makes itself at home in a shallow puddle on the old lumber road.
