| On the bushwhack down from Picket Hill North Peak is a glimpse of South Peak. There are cliffs here that force me to veer east off my planned compass course; and the route down is still steep! While Pickett Hill is billed as a "Double Peak", the col between the peaks is more than 300 feet down. Definitely qualifies as two separate mountains in my book! |
