| Today is crisp and the view is so clear we can see from a near-summit lookout several distant small mountains to our east. In the foreground is Winn Mountain (closest, in the middle) and Rose Mountain (behind, to the left). The three mountains in the distance are (from left to right): North Uncanoonuc Mountain, South Uncanoonuc Mountain and Joe English Hill. And then, in the far distance, you can just barely make out the Pawtuckaway Mountains. |
