| Seven of us hiked Franconia Ridge for full-moon-rise and sunset in October 2004. Ten minutes before moonrise we get this beautiful view from atop Mount Lafayette. Then -- BLAM! -- clouds roll in from the north like a freight train: wild, unpredictable, uncivilized; and no view at all! |
