| Carl S. and Fred hiked Mount Kearsarge in July 2007 from Rollins State Park. We go up the Rollins Trail -- where Carl is looking out from the ridge -- and down the Lincoln Trail. A plaque at the trailhead says Frank West Rollins was Governor of NH from 1901 to 1903 and Co-founder (and president for 25 years) of the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. |
