squirrel-chewed trail blaze at Deering Wildlife Sanctuary in southern New Hampshire

Wow, I didn't know squirrels chewed on metal blazes -- maybe they are having trouble keeping their teeth trimmed. At least the blazes aren't gnawed completely away, like plastic ones.
