Eleven of us
climbed Mount Clay (5531-ft; White Mountains, NH)
on a Wednesday in June 2005.
The group lunches atop Clay
with the cloud-capped northern Presidentials as a backdrop.
(Note: In June 2003 Gov. Benson of NH signed into law the renaming of Mount Clay to Mount Reagan; however, the Federal Government will not recognize the name change until five years after Reagan's death. And in 2010 the Feds decided NOT to accept this name change.) |
