| I hiked Catamount Hill in mid March 2011, starting out along One Mile Road. These Red Pines, which were planted in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, will be harvested in the 2020s, with the understory native White Pines then taking over. Farther along, One Mile Road becomes part of a major NH Snowmobile Corridor Trail (#15). |
