Dick, Fred and Gwen hiked to Bridal Veil Falls (2100 ft at its base; near Franconia, NH) in April 2011. Rotten snow and high water volume cause treacherous trail conditions. Even after donning snowshoes we posthole into subterranean waterflow several times. But Coppermine Brook is pretty impressive today!
