| Cathy, Dick, Fred and Gwen bushwhacked to Bear Mountain (3220-ft; White Mountains, NH) in July 2009. The woods are fairly open near the bottom and there is a herd path on the ridge top; but in between we push through quite a bit of nasty thick stuff. In the photo, Cathy, Gwen and Dick disappear into "fairly open" woods. |
