| In case you were wondering how much snow remains way north in NH in mid April at 3000 feet, here's a photo of the snow-buried outhouse near the Baldhead lean-to. For most of the hike we snowshoe easily atop a crusty surface; but in some spots the snow is beginning to rot and we posthole down. |
