| Here is my GPS track following the Alander Mountain Trail from the Forest Headquarters parking lot to its near-summit intersection with the South Taconic Trail. Out of curiosity I do a short spur hike to the west summit (not much view) and then a short exploration south down the ridge (excellent views). |
