| Twelve of us hiked Mount Adams (5774-ft; White Mountains, NH) and Mount John Quincy Adams (5394-ft) on a Wednesday in May 2002. Tom and Larry head down the Airline Trail. In early May we have beautiful weather and little remaining snow; but we also encounter our first black flies of the season(!). |
