| We had a great weekend, canoeing the White River (Vermont) in May 4-6, 2001. Saturday we canoed from just above Rochester back to Gaysville -- about 14 miles of mostly Class I rapids with a few fun Class II stretches. Put-in was at a roadside park (off Rt 100), on river right, about a half mile north of Rochester. Mark enjoys the "white" water provided by spring-runoff high water levels. |
