| Our put-in was at Childs (south of Flagstaff) and our take-out was at Horseshoe Reservoir (north of Phoenix) -- a paddling distance of about 45 miles. Because the reservoir was fairly full, the last few miles of paddling was on flat water, with great views of the surrounding mountains. |
