| We took a couple side hikes into the surrounding desert to see Indian ruins and enjoy the spring floral display. These flowers are entwined in the woody skeleton of a dead Saguaro cactus. We didn't see any snakes or scorpions on our hikes; but all the desert plants have thorns -- some of which we saw a little too closely! |
